Her aunt has a brother in law in Egypt who sent her the necessary money for her passage to Egypt. Her aunt went to Egypt and Viktor was all alone in the Turkish house. Soon after her aunt had left Arabkir, her mistress wanted to marry her with a Turk. Viktor refused and looked for a chance to flee. She met a muleteer, paid him the expense for her journey and came to Aleppo.
Viktor learned embroidery and became selfsupporting. In the meantime she had found relatives here in Aleppo and she now went to live with them.
