Nartoohi was deported with her mother and her aunt. On the road she lost her mother. A Kourd took her and her aunt to his village named Kharali and they both lived two years there. They fled together to Baker Maden where they lived among a Turkish family.
In the summer of 1922 they fled to Harpoot. After one month Armenians could leave Turkey. They joined a party and came to this city.
