Misak's father died before the
war. He himself was deported with his mother, 2 brothers and a sister from
Adana to Deir-el-Zor.
They stayed there 2 months,
later the caravan went further on to Mardin. There the sisters and the brother
were taken away by Arabs.
Misak and his mother walked
some days, then he lost her and was soon taken away by a Kourd, where he stayed
10 years.
One day he met with some
muleteers, who told him about our rescue-home and offered taking him with them.
Misak went with them and
reached our home safely.
Went
to our colony April 22, 1926.
Left
our care: October 1927. Selfsupporting, Peasant.
