Turvanda does not remember her father's name only she knows that he became ill and died before the deportation. She was exiled with her mother 2 brothers and a little sister.
The brothers and the little sister were robbed on the way, and she does not know what happend them.
She and her mother were sent on to "Kushla" with the caravan. There she went into a garden and played with some other children. When she returned the caravan had gone and she was alone. She cried and an Arab brought her to his tent where she stayed 6 months, but being illtreated she fled to a family in the neighbourhood. Here she stayed 7 years as a maidservant. Afterwards she was sold to an old Arab, who married her. After a short time she fled and came to us.
Left our care: April 16, 1926. Selfsupporting servant.
