In the beginning of the Great War, her father was taken to the Turkish army. There he became ill and died. When Armenians were deported a Turkish policeman married her mother and so they were allowed to remain in their house.
Several years after the policeman wanted to marry Baidzar to one of his friends but her mother was against it and asked the Armenians to assist her in sending Baidzar to Aleppo.
Few days afterwards a caravan of emigrants was starting for Aleppo. They took Baidzar with them and in this way she reached Aleppo.
Her mother is still living with the Turk.
