            In the beginning of the Armenians massacres her husband was killed in a town named Shamra. She herself was taken to the house of a chief of the village where she served two years as a maid-servant. Later her master married her with one of his servants. Menoosh lived six years with her Kourdish husband.

            An Assyrian man who knew about our Reception house here in Aleppo told her about it and promised her to take her to our agent if she wanted to return to her nation. Menoush was of course willing to return and joined the man who took her to our agent who sent her later by automobile to us.

            As far as we know she has no relatives.
