His father died in the Turkish Army. David was deported with his mother, brother and sister to the villages around Diarbekir. His mother died there, he was exiled to Nisibin while his brother and little sister were detained among the Moslems in Diarbekir. He never could get any news from them.
When he heard that there are Armenians in Urfa, he fled and went to this city hoping to find some of his relatives there. Arriving there he found nobody, he went to an Armenian family he was received, protected and later sent to Aleppo by them. As far as we know he has no relatives.
We located David's relatives in Beyrooth and he went to live with them.
Left our care: January 21, 1924. Relatives.
