His father was a soldier in the Turkish army and died there. His mother died before the war. Setrak was taken to a Kourdish family who kept him until now as a shepherd and farmer.
Setrak wanted to flee several times but did not succeed. After the Armenian emigration he fled from the Kourds' house and started for Aleppo. Having no money he worked in different places, coming always nearer to the Syrian frontier. At last he reached to Djirablous, our agent met him there and sent him to us.
He has relatives here in Syria and we hope to be able to locate them.
Left our care: December 14, 1924. Relatives
