Margrit was deported with her parents and brothers. At Kizin-Khan Turks killed her father and the others had to continue their way to Mardin. In Mardin the caravan was ordered to continue to the Syrian desert. A few hours from Mardin, the caravan was attacked and robbed by Turks: men were killed, women and children dragged to the Harems of the Turks.
Margerit however, was married to a Turk from Mardin and she lived 10 years with him. One month ago she fled from the Turk and went to the Armenian priest who sent her to our agent in Hassitshe.
Several days after, she was sent by motor-car to Aleppo.
As far as we know she was no relatives.
Margrit was carried off to the Moslems in an insidious way through a Syrian policeman.
