Vahan
was deported with his parents, two brothers and one sister. The caravan was
always surrounded by Arabs and Kourds, who robbed, killed and dragged people
away with them.
One day an Arab took Vahan
away and brought him to his tent. As he grew up and heard that he was an
Armenian, he did not like to stay longer among the Moslems, so one day he fled
to us.
