Mariam was an orphan, when the war broke out. She was
deported with her elder sister, Khatoon and two brothers. A Kurd took the two
girls and married Khatoon. Mariam lived with them for four years and was then
sold to another Kurd. Lately her husband had to flee from Turkey. When they
came to Syria, Mariam fled and came to our home. She has a little daughter with
her, a very weak child.
Left our care: May , 16,
1928. Living with friends in Aleppo. Later married to an Armenian in Hassitshe.
