PICTURE

Victoria's father died when she was but a little child. Her mother died a few months before the deportation. She remained with her aunt, who gave her to a Turk, when she herself was exiled.

The Turk lived in Erzeroom at that time, but later he went to Constantinople and brought Victoria there also. She lived there 5 years as their daughter. Then a Turk from Beyrouth came to Constantinople in business. By a chance he saw Victoria and persuaded her to follow him to Beyrouth. She stayed there 5 years, then she fled to an Armenian family, because her master wanted to marry her to a Turk. Her master found her and brought her back, but a few days later she fled again to the Armenian church. There they protected her till they were able sending her to our house in Aleppo.

Her younger sister is in her former place in Constantinople.
