Minas'
father was thrown in prison in the beginning of the war, tortured and at last
died under the hand of his tormentors. He came on the road with his mother,
sister and thousands of Armenians. They were driven in the direction of Mosul.
One day a Kurd dragged him out of the caravan. He has never had any information
of what became of his relatives. Seven years he stayed with that man and worked
for him as a shepherd. Once Minas fled to Mosul there an Arab took him in and
he became a servant in his house. One day he met with some Armenian merchants
from Aleppo who told him about our rescue-home. He joined them and reached us
safely.
Left our care: June 1, 1927. Selfsupporting, baker.
