Her husband was killed in the beginning of the Armenian massacres. Haiganoosh was deported with her mother in law until Mardin. A Kurd took her back to Diarbekir and sold her there to a Turk. Within a few days she was married to him. Haiganoosh lived seven years with the Turk being his wife. She was ill-treated all the time and so she deceided to flee. Two Armenian boys were going to Aleppo, she fled at night, joined them and reached safely this city.
As far as we know she has no relatives.
Haiganoosh found her relatives and is now living with them.
