The people of the village Kar Tzor were deported to Moosh. Men were separated and put in large buildings which were burnt afterwards. Some of these unfortunate people succeeded in running away from the flames and paid large sums to escape from the Kourds.

            Women and girls were taken to different Kourdish houses, some were kept as servants, other married to Kourds and several were sold.

            Kishmish was among those who were married to Kourds. She was refusing in the beginning but she could not flee being all alone. The Kourd married her and she lived eight years with him. Kishmish was getting tired of the life among the Kourds, she wanted absolutely to return to her own nation. She fled at night and went to Diarbekir, there she met some known Armenians who protected her against the Kourd. Later she was sent to Mardin. The Armenian priest sent her right away to our agent in Hassitshe. Kishmish remained several days in the house of our agent and was sent later to Aleppo.

            She has no relatives.
