During
the deportation the whole family was exiled southward to Malatia where he was
separated from his parents and was brought to Biredjik accompanied with his
grandmother. An Arab took Megerditch away from the old woman and brought him to
Urfa. He took care of him until he could help him in his farm.
Megerditch never heard about
his relatives, but when he was informed that many Armenians were still living
in Aleppo, he fled and reached Deir-el-Zor, from where he was sent to our
reception house.
Left
our care: June 5, 1926. Selfsupporting.
