When Azniv was deported with her mother and baby, her husband was a soldier in the Turkish army. After a walk of one day from her native town she was dragged away from her mother and taken to a Turkish house. The Turk married her but did not want her baby and gave it to someone else.
Azniv lived three years with the Turk then he became ill and died. Shortly after the Turk's death they wanted to marry her again to a Turk but she refused and fled to her sister who was at the time in Diarbeker. From there she fled with her sister and came to us on June 12.
Her husband is supposed to be alive in Constantinople.
Her husband came from Constantinople, Azniv is living with him here in Aleppo.
