As
all other Armenians in the war time Shnorhig also was deported with her
relatives.
Her
father was killed, her mother and brother disappeared, and she does not know
their fate.
She
herself and her sister were taken away a Turk by name Abdul Riza Kerma.
Shnorhig’s sister succeeded in fleeing and is now living in Paris.
Shnorhig
was forced to marry the son of Abdul Riza. 11 years she lived with that man,
and she became 2 children, who both died.
One
day Shnorhig got a letter from her sister in Paris, she then fled to our agent
in Mardin, who helped her to reach our home in Aleppo.
