Diruhi was as all Armenians in the wartime exiled with
her relatives. The caravan was attacked by Kurds and Arabs who robbed and
killed. Diruhi was wounded in her leg, and she suffered awfully in getting
along with the caravan. At last they reached Mosul where she was put into a
hospital.
Later she earned her living as best as she could. One day
she heard that her aunt was living in Aleppo. She borrowed some money and came
to us. Of course we paid her expenses of the journey and his helping her. She
is suffering from rheumatism can scarcely walk.
February 1931 still sick in
our care. Is treated by hospital Altounyan.
