Companion of No: 34. The Muslems in Kiaghta tried very hard to convert him to Islam for which reason he fled twice and was brought back. The third time he succeeded and came over Urfa to Aleppo.
His father fled too and is now in Urfa, it is to be hoped that he can find a way to come out too. They have relatives in Constantinople who are rather well off. The mother is in Eski Shehir so it may be, that the family could yet be reunited.
Arakel worked in a baker shop and earned some money, so he could help his father, who finally came from Urfa.
They became news that their family was in Saloniki. Arakel and his father went to join them.
