His father was a soldier in the Turkish army when he was deported with his mother to Diarbekir. Bedros' mother was killed there and he himself taken to a Kourdish family where he lived seven years as a farmer.

Some Arab muleteers were passing the town. They knew that Bedros was an Armenian. They told him that there were many Armenians alive in Aleppo and that they would take him with them if he could flee. Bedros agreed immediately and joined them. After a long journey across Anatolia and Northern Mesopotamia he reached Aleppo.

As far as we know he has no relatives.

Went to Beirut.

Later we sent him there, he is doing very well.

Left our care: July 7, 1923. Selfsupporting.
