Garabed was deported with his parents from Urfa. On the way to Nisibin his parents were wounded and policemen intended to kill Garabed but he succeeded in fleeing to Amood. He never became free but always worked for Kurds in order to save his life.

            After the Armistice French troops had come to the region of Boyoudar, Garabed heard about this and fled by night to Der-el-Zor. Armenians recognized him and sent him to us.

We received him here on October 2.

Found his relatives and went to live with them.
