Yeghisapets father died in the
beginning of the war. Her husband was a soldier in the Turkish army. She and
her little son Avedis were deported with their relatives.
Some months after the caravan
reached Ras-el-Ain, there an Arab took her and brought her to his tent. She was
forced to marry that Arab and lived with him many years.
Yeghisapet was illtreated and
had to do all the hard work in the house and on the field.
