                  Krikor's parents were killed in the beginning of the war. He and his brother were deported with their relatives. The brother disappeared on the road, probably taken away by an Arab or Kourd.

                  Krikor was one day by a Kourd brought to his village, near Rakka. That man kept Krikor 11 years as a slave, he then fled and reached Hassitshe from where our agent sent him on to us.
