Her father died before the deportation. Aghavni with her brother and mother were deported to Izoli. A Kourd of this town took them to his house and she lived seven years there being the servant of the Kourd.
When Armenians were allowed to leave Turkey, some Armenian caravan passed their village, Aghavni and her brother joined them and came to this city.
Her mother's brother is in America.
Found some relatives here and went to live with them.
