Manoosh was deported with her parents to Harpoot and all of them remained several months there. Her father paid some money to a known Turk who conducted them back to their village.
However, her father had suffered much in the deportation time, became ill and died within a few months after their return. Her mother married a Turk of the same village and so they lived there until lately.
Her mother had some economics, paid a coachman the necessary money and sent Manoosh to Aleppo in order to save her from eventually marriage with a Turk.
Manoosh having nobody here in Syria was admitted in our house.
Her mother is supposed to come later.
