One year before the war her father had gone to Russia. Satenig, her mother, brother and four sisters were deported to a village named Gouik. There she was separated from her family and given to a Kourd.

            After six months this town was occupied by the Russian army and before her arrival the whole population had to leave. Satenig and the Kourdish family she lived with came to Ghendja. After being 3 years in that family the Kourd married her and two years later he died. After her husband's death she worked during 3 years in different houses in order to earn her daily bread.

            Satenig went with some people to another town, but on the road became ill and could not continue her journey. After her recovery she came with some other women to Aleppo and we took her in because she is unable to support herself.
